Why does Monique prefer to tweeze the eyebrows only?
She believes that the eyebrow area is such a thin and delicate area that is not meant to be waxed. The sole purpose of using wax is to remove hair. It has nothing to do with shaping the eyebrows. She also believes that you can get a better, cleaner, more precise shape with tweezing. When tweezing, she holds the skin taut so she can see all the hairs that need to be removed.
Waxing pulls the skin, snaps it back which over time causes the eyebrow area to prematurely sag. Also when you get your eyebrows waxed by an unskilled “professional”, you run the risk of getting your skin:

You also run the risk of contracting an infection if the technician uses an unsanitary method of double-dipping a used waxing spatula into a clean waxing pot.
